Deborah Richards began her career as a professional screenwriter after she won an Emmy® for Best Screenplay in 2013 for her film school project -  Boy Meets Girl.
 

Since then she has written ten shorts, three feature films and dozens of TV commercials plus web promos.

She was recently awarded a spot on the FS2P all female writers bootcamp over the 2023/24 holiday season for her feature screenplay Scissor Mouth, and routinely keeps her finger on the pulse of Hollywood with regular pitch meetings across the industry.
